OUR MISSION
The mission of The Anna Maria Island Historical Society is to enrich the community
by preserving and sharing the history of our Island and its three cities,
making it come alive to residents and visitors.
OFFICERS & BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Anna Maria Island Historical Society Museum is largely volunteer run.
The Board Members are responsible for caring for the collections, planning and leading public events, stocking the gift shop, fundraising, training docents, marketing the museum, and many more activities.
Our dedicated board members and docents performs the roles of a full-time small museum staff.
Their hard work and dedication have kept this museum free and open to the public.
